We have a range of things happening at Epsom Community Church from playgroups for young children and their parents or carers, to a mens shed and bible studies throughout the week at various locations. There is a little information about these different groups that meet throughout the week, but if you would like some further information, please get in touch with us. We would love to help answer any questions you may have.

Bible Studies

We believe it is important to be reading and studying the bible throughout the week, and one great way that we can do this and be accountable to each other is being part of a bible study group. There are numerous groups that meet on different days throughout the week. There are a number of KYB groups that meet during the day, and others that meet of an evening. Or if you are interested in starting up a new bible study group, speak to Kelvin.

Common Threads

Common threads is a craft group that meets monthly on a Thursday evening at the church. It’s a time for sewing, knitting… actually any type of crafty thing you would like to do! Or if you would like to learn some crafty type things, I’m sure there would be someone who would enjoy teaching you a few things.

If you would like some more information about this please speak to Lorraine Harvey.

Men’s Shed

On a Wednesday morning, there is a group of men that meet each week to hang out in a shed and do stuff with wood. There is also lots of chatting, quite a few cups of tea and coffee, and the odd bit of wood work completed as well. Sometimes, they fix wooden things, and have even enjoyed making some picture frames for the playgroup as well.

If you would like some more information about this, please speak to Rob Robertson.

Playgroup

There are currently two playgroup sessions, with one meeting on Wednesday and the other on thursday mornings during the school term. The playgroup session usually involves a story time, song, craft activity, time for free play indoors or outside on the playground and a morning tea time for everyone. It runs for kids up to school age, so if you are looking for a playgroup to be involved in, please get in touch.

If you would like some more information about this please speak to Sarah Sargeant or Brooke Ball.
